So today was the dredded day for the "6 week" shots! We saw Dr. Joe for a little check up and he answered all my crazy questions. Abby checked out GREAT, weighing in at 10 lbs, 4 oz. The shots where tough. She screamed like crazy after the first stick, but she calmed down soon after in her daddy's arms. She has been pretty fussy this morning and is napping now. I hope she feels better soon!!
Abby will be 7 weeks old this Wednesday and I cannot believe it! The time has really flown by and it makes me very sad. She is sucking on her little hands and sometimes even finds her thumb. We have JUST transitioned her from sleeping in our room in the Pack N Play to her crib in the nursery. She is even still sleeping ALL NIGHT in the crib!! I will have to go back to work soon (probably September 1st). But first, we will take our annual vacation to Florida which I am VERY excited about! It will be a very short trip, but that's okay. We just want to get away!!
I am doing great! I have started walking and working out a little bit. I think I over did it last week so will lighten up just a bit. I am so anxious to get my body back, but will take my time.
We are anxiously waiting to take a "sneak peak" at Abby's cousin and my little niece Miss Emily Elaine Hobson! This Friday, Jennifer goes for her 4D sonogram and we are SO exicted! Me and Abby are planning on going to see little Emmie!!

look at those band aids! i remember the day AR got her shots. It killed me, but at the same time, I was so excited because we could go places!!! She is growing up so fast. I cant believe its time for shots already. She is precious!!!

honesy, don't beat yourself up over the weight. lil man will be five months old this sunday, and i still get pi**ed when i look in the mirror, but keep walking and exercising. as beautiful as you are, you will bounce back in NO time!!
